New hires beware
Software Engineer • Current Employee
San Jose, California, United States
June 12, 2014
Pros: So-called "Work and life balance"
Cons: When they lay off, the new hires are likely to become victims – it happened to me in 2008. Looking in retrospect, it is unclear what the motives were to open these positions in the first place, when the decision-makers clearly knew what was coming. Beware when you get an offer from them!
