They quote a made-up CTC, which would be twice your base salary. You won't know how they arrived at that amount, as what you receive at the end of the year is much less.
If you have a joining bonus component, be very careful. They will take it back based on the service period condition in your offer letter. But never mention the amount they have taken back on any paper, not even Form 16.
Payroll team is extremely rude and harsh. They will not tell you until your last day how much money you have to pay back. And you have to pay then and there by cheque.
Now, you keep mailing HR. They would not mention this amount in your Form 16, and you end up paying a huge tax amount (one-third of the bonus). Nobody from HR, your director, or manager will understand your argument and ask payroll to correct the Form 16. Complete harassment, I would say.

Asked Leetcode Medium to Hard level question, and the interviewer was very interactive and very, very active throughout the process. I feel a person who is strong at the DSA can qualify this round.
