Apply online, get a call from an HR screener. Talk to the Hiring Manager for 45 minutes, told I will talk to THREE people via Zoom. Get an email from the HR screener the very next day that they are going with other candidates. Get a corrected email saying I will have a 45-minute interview with ONE person. Get a booking email for 30 minutes, confirm the schedule.
30-minute interview comes, but no one calls. Turns out there was a Zoom link that I never received. The person still called me via phone and sounded not surprised by HR's lack of confirmation regarding the interview process. We figured it out. Still get an email that they will go with another candidate.
Honestly, whatever bad HR practices were mentioned here last year, they are still present. They are losing many capable candidates because they can't keep up.
Probably one of the most insulting experiences I've ever had, and that last 45-minute interview that became a 30-minute interview felt like a pity call. I still went through with it, given the age of the organization.
I wish I would have gotten a phone call instead of one-line emails for their "internal miscommunication(s)".
