Interviewers did not know where they were in the process, if/whether I was interviewing with other team members, or whom those members were.
Received multiple statements that there isn't much role clarity within HR, thus resulting in a lot of territorialism. I was repeatedly told by multiple interviewers that in this role, I would need to stay in my sandbox/stay out of their lane. Those who have broad-based backgrounds working in a variety of areas within HR aren't welcome here. Narrow lanes only.
Compared to the interview process with other roles at this same level with similar brand-name technology companies, I did not experience a sophisticated recruiter/recruiting process for a role at this level. I felt as if I was interviewing for a much more junior level role than the title represents.
