My interview process with Peloton took about 5-6 weeks.

It started with a 15-minute call with the recruiter. Then, a 1-hour behavioral interview with the hiring manager.

He advanced me to a 1-hour technical screen with a senior SWE on the team I was interviewing for. This involved an easy algorithm, basic test cases, and fairly simple work in React.

After this, I moved to the technical “on-site.” This was a 5-hour interview with members of the team:

• 1 hour front end/React/CSS
• 1 hour debugging/refactoring code
• 1 hour systems design
• Half-hour interviews with PMs/SDET, etc.

It was obviously frustrating to invest so much time in the interview process and then receive feedback that they were looking for someone with more experience. The hiring manager specifically told me they were also interested in taking on junior members, so this was mixed messaging.

Build a component using React. Use CSS/flexboxing for the layout.
