I applied online. The process took 4 weeks.
Interviewed with Pigment early this summer, the team was very professional and organized, from the recruiter to the engineers I met with.
The process is 5 steps:
I failed the live coding interview, make sure you are very comfortable writing frontend code, whatever stack you choose. You will be required to code by hand and develop multiple features, but nothing crazy.
I would say it is about average in difficulty, I came with an assumption that turned out wrong and messed up everything for me. Even though I was able to complete the whole exercise, I did not pass as they thought I needed some hand holding. They care about functionality more than HTML/CSS or optimal TypeScript code.
The following metrics were computed from 1 interview experience for the Pigment Frontend Engineer role.
Pigment's interview process for their Frontend Engineer roles is extremely selective, failing the vast majority of engineers.
Candidates reported having very good feelings for Pigment's Frontend Engineer interview process.
