Android Engineer Interview Experience - San Francisco, California

Process

Everyone was nice, and the interview went well. However, it was quite disorganized in how they conducted it. A few examples include:

  • I was required to screen share from the laptop I was supposed to solve problems from to the TV. The connection wasn't set up, so half the interview time was spent setting that up and getting help from IT.
  • One of the questions wasn't on the laptop, so it required a transfer through Airdrop. Once transferred, I couldn't solve the problem because I wasn't on the right Wi-Fi connection.
  • One of the questions had more to do with backend architecture, which is not the position I was applying for.
