Process

The entire process took three weeks.

I applied for the internship, and two days later, I was scheduled for my first behavioral and technical screening. After that interview, I was told I was better suited for the apprenticeship program. I was then scheduled for two technical interviews (remotely, on different days), followed by a final in-person interview at their gorgeous offices in San Francisco.

The in-person interview consisted of three interviews: two technical and one behavioral.

The entire process was managed flawlessly. The staff was very nice and friendly, making me feel comfortable during the interview. I usually get nervous, but that wasn't the case with Pinterest.

I have to say, interviewing here was the best interview process I've been through so far. The staff was phenomenal – a really cool and smart group of people.

I even received a goodie bag to take home with lots of amazing swag, including:

  • Cups
  • Notepads
  • Stickers
  • Pens
  • Credit card holders
  • A reusable shopping bag

Google, Facebook, Microsoft, and other major tech employers have much to learn from Pinterest.
