I received an HR call as soon as I applied and scheduled a technical phone screen. They outsource their phone screen process, and an interviewer from another company conducted the entire phone interview via video call. Since everything was recorded, I wasn't able to ask any specific company-related questions. The interviewer asked me a technical question, and I was able to complete it within the 45-minute time limit with a correct, working solution. Still, the next day, I received a rejection. I'm not sure what went wrong. Perhaps the expectation was to complete it in less time.
