Most engineers are smart and great. They are willing to work on exciting things without thinking about promotion. The product is fun to work on.
Too much politics in the engineering part. A small amount of engineers (some managers as well) are not putting people first. Instead of contributing code, they are playing politics and delivering a very negative culture here. Engineers who want to work on impactful things find it very hard to get a chance if projects are against the interests of these people.
Please pay attention to engineers who are not coding but having meetings all day long (just check their GitHub).
These engineers are usually playing politics.
It's too early for us to have promotion discussions in a 200-person engineering team. Everyone should be at the same level at this current stage.
This was my second tech job, and the process was pretty standard. It began with a phone screen via CoderPad with one of their engineers, followed by a full-day onsite interview. The onsite was split between: * Data structures/algorithms * Beha
I was contacted by a sourcer regarding some interesting roles at a time when I was already actively interviewing and looking for a career move. The sourcer was very nice and positive, and helped me set up a phone interview for the following week. T
Recruiter, phone interview about a LeetCode question, onsite, and finally no offer. The process was quick and smooth. The recruiter was happy to answer my questions and tried his best to accommodate my needs.
