Process
The phone screen includes two rounds, each lasting one hour. It's totally online and requires you to open your camera.
The first round is coding, and the second round is ML questions.
Questions
In the coding round, they gave you a scenario and let you pick a language to solve the problem. You chose your own IDE. The algorithm used was not hard, but the scenario was a little messy, and there were edge cases you needed to find yourself.
In the ML round, they gave you a problem in one to two sentences, and you needed to lead the conversation to solve it. It was open-ended and like a case study in a DS interview, which did not require you to explain how to implement.
