Went through the entire Product Interview process, from the initial Culture interview through to the Superday. All in all, a good experience, though the Superday could have been a bit more descriptive.
The ask was to build a thing essentially from scratch. They provide an empty React and Flask application.
The final bullet point on the ask is "This is primarily a test of your ability to ship stuff."
That's a bit untrue; the real ask is to implement as many features as you possibly can. Your coding capability isn't really the highlight. I suspect a bunch of candidates just used AI and got the job.
Initial culture interview was pretty standard. The second non-code "technical assessment" was great. Got to chat with a very knowledgeable engineer about what it's like to work at Posthog and was essentially asked how I would implement event tracking or analytics tracking to a mom/pop website. Third round was the founder interview; Tim was awesome to talk to and gave me really good insight into the company.
More or less asked me questions about how I work and where I am in my career, etc. Normal early interview stuff.
