The interview process consisted of four rounds:

• Programming Exercise with AI (75 minutes): This round focused on problem-solving, coding, and the ability to reason through a programming problem while using AI tools appropriately.
• Resume Deep Dive (60 minutes): The interviewer went through my projects and professional experience in detail. The discussion focused on my technical contributions, design and architecture decisions, technology and database choices, and the reasoning behind them. There were also follow-up questions around how I would extend or modify the systems for new requirements.
• Code Review (60 minutes): I was given code to review and was expected to identify bugs, potential design and code-quality issues, edge cases, and areas for improvement. The discussion also covered the reasoning behind suggested changes.
• Troubleshooting with AI (60 minutes): This round focused on debugging and troubleshooting a technical problem. I had to analyze the issue systematically, identify the root cause, and use AI as part of the debugging process.

Overall, the process was quite practical and focused not only on coding ability but also on system understanding, design decisions, debugging, communication, and the ability to reason about trade-offs and real-world engineering problems.
