The interviewers were good and mostly asked about current projects, the challenges faced during them, and how I resolved them. The final CTO round, however, was humiliating. He started rambling about random topics, like coffee beans he had bought from San Francisco. He showed little to no interest in discussing technologies, design challenges, or what Postman is building next.
What's worse is the superiority attitude he displayed during the interview. He acted like a know-it-all and constantly interrupted me during discussions, diverting them to irrelevant topics that had nothing to do with the role I had applied for.
The interview lasted about 20 minutes. Afterwards, he told me to leave my visitor card on the table and depart for the day. It seemed as though he thought I might steal it and return to take his coffee beans (just a joke, but you get the point).
Current projects and challenges faced.
How I was able to solve them.
