I applied for the 6-month internship role at Postman in mid-September 2020. The complete process consisted of 5 rounds and took around a month, with a gap of roughly one week between each round:
Coding Round - 3 coding questions (2 mainstream + 1 file handling)
Technical Interview 1 - Projects, System Design Basics (DBs, Indexing, ACID, https, encryption, event loop, etc.)
Technical Interview 2 - Projects, in-depth questions related to the tech stack mentioned in the resume. Topics were similar to the first round, but questions were more architecture-oriented.
Hiring Manager Round - In-depth discussion of projects worked on, rigorous face-to-face profiling, a couple of HR questions, and culture/vision evaluation.
HR Round - Not a formal round; offer discussion and all.
Overall, the process was smooth. The interviewers were quite cool and made sure I wasn't nervous during the rounds.
System Design (Basics)
Your Tech Stack (In and Out)
That's the section you'll want to focus on.
