The whole process had 6 steps:
First, a phone screening with the hiring manager. Second, a 2-hour Python test. They ask a question to develop with Python. You have 90 minutes to answer and 30 minutes to discuss your solution. They didn't tell you beforehand what programs you needed to install on your computer, so if you don't have any Python interpreter on your personal laptop, you will lose the step. Lastly, a loop interview, which consists of SQL, API design, Analytics, and culture.
For SQL, the interviewer copied the questions into the Zoom chat! They didn't even use a live platform to ask questions. I didn't have any sample data.
For API design, the guy shared his screen and asked me to tell him what I wanted to write, and he would type there!
The process of the technical interview was ridiculous! They shouldn't book a person for all 4 steps together. They wasted my time, and at the end, they didn't give me any feedback.
This is their exact quote, which I received from them: “I'm afraid we are not able to provide specific feedback on the interviews, but if you have general questions or feedback for our team, please do let us know.”
When you do 6 rounds of interview with someone, the least you can do is provide feedback to the person!
