The interview process involved three rounds:
I had a great experience talking with the interviewers and the recruiter. I was made to feel very much at ease and not stressed.
It felt good being challenged with technical questions that were relevant to real applications, rather than just puzzles or random textbook questions. They were not picky on code syntax, as long as the approach was right.
The interviewers helped and prompted whenever I had to think through a problem, without being intimidating. The process was very technical to assess me, with some personality questions included. Everything seemed like a discussion.
Overall, it was a really good interviewing experience.
How to set up a test configuration given a scenario. How to look at logs in case of failures. Define test cases given a scenario. Questions to assess handling technical situations.
Unix commands that are used typically, data structures and algorithms, recursion, etc., object-oriented concepts and implementation.
A few questions based on my experience.
