Process
Received a phone call to schedule a phone interview.
Then received a phone call with 2-3 engineers and answered some technical questions.
Subsequently, scheduled an on-site interview.
There were 4 sessions, each about an hour, with 2-3 people. Questions about micro-architecture and logic design were asked, covering topics such as:
- Variable-width adder
- Pipeline control
- Cache configuration
- Multiplier, etc.
Questions
Design a variable data-width parallel adder that can optionally be signed or unsigned using a minimal number of bits.

Pros: * Work with cutting-edge technology
* Very talented and smart people
* Little micromanaging
* Good perks and environment to work in
All in all, the atmosphere is great. It can sometimes require long hours, but it never feels grueling, partly because the projects are interesting.
Cons: * Pay tends to be lower than the industry average.
* Product roadmap and strategic planning often put more pressure on engineers than necessary. This especially applies to canceled products that only serve as a time-waste that could have been better spent.
* Compute resources aren't as plentiful as they could be, which hampers how fast things can get done.

Pros: Great people and awesome benefits. The salary is good, and schedules are pretty flexible as long as you get the work done.
Cons: It has been growing quite quickly, so some new "big company" issues are expected. Market expectations are increasingly demanding, and pressure to perform is propagating down to the employees slowly.
