Process

I was called for an interview after resume screening at a campus career fair. I had two rounds of interviews.

The first round was a software round, where I was tested on data structures such as linked lists and trees. There was also a question on FSM design.

The second round was a hardware round. I was asked to draw the synthesized hardware for a Verilog program. The second question was to draw a timing diagram for a sequential circuit. The third question was to implement a 3-input NAND gate using a 2-to-1 multiplexer.

Questions

Assume a directory tree where each child represents a directory inside the root directory. Write a program to calculate the total disk space for the root directory. Assume whatever you want.
