Process

Received the onsite interview request after the phone interview.

The onsite process includes 6 rounds.

Technical interviewers were easy-going. They would give you hints or lead you if you had no clue.

Questions asked were about hardware testing, including:

  • What to test
  • How to test
  • Possible reasons for unexpected results

Required basic knowledge about circuit schematic diagrams, wireless communication transceiver diagrams, noise figure, link budget calculations, sensitivity, and testing equipment (e.g., VNA, Spectrum Analyzer).

Basic C++ or C# knowledge was also expected.

The HR interview was very nice. The interviewer introduced the company and its benefits, and asked very few behavioral questions.

Questions

Asked about problems one may see in practical testing, and how to debug those problems.

They want to see how you think about a problem if you don't have experience.
