I had applied for the Summer 2020 Hardware Intern position.
I was called to interview for the Bluetooth validation team.
I was emailed to schedule a video interview, and we agreed on an interview a week later. There was a panel of three men for the video interview.
During the video interview, I was given two small problems to solve. One was a bit-manipulation problem, and the other was to fill in a Bluetooth protocol message sequence diagram. (They explained the protocol before asking me to solve.)
As the interview started with some audio/video glitches, they didn't ask any further technical questions. They then explained what the position is about, stating that it involves mainly hardware integration and validation tests, requiring the use of test equipment and scripting.
The level of questions was very simple, and I believe I answered them correctly. However, they still decided not to give an offer, which was bizarre.
