I learned of several job openings at Qualcomm through an online job portal. I registered on Qualcomm's Career site and applied to a couple of jobs listed there. This way, my resume entered their database, and I started receiving calls about various profiles and jobs at Qualcomm from the next day onwards.
The HR scheduled a telephonic screening call with the team lead, which lasted for about half an hour.
In the telephonic screening round, I was asked mostly about my current work background, a few C questions, general OS concepts, and some questions to judge analytical skills.
After the telephonic round, they scheduled face-to-face interviews in Hyderabad. They made proper arrangements for door-to-door pick-up and drop-off from my residence to Qualcomm, Hyderabad, and back.
I had three technical interviews, which lasted about 1 to 1.5 hours each. Finally, I had a short discussion with HR regarding compensation. I was told that I had cleared the interview process and they would be proceeding with the offer.
The pre-interview process was very quick, but the post-interview process was incredibly slow. They took almost two months from the date of the F2F interview to release the offer. The HR was very slow in responding to my emails and queries about the offer, compensation, and bonus.
Mostly C coding questions, with a very important focus on bitwise operations.
Data structures, including:
Operating system concepts.
