Great Balance, Bad Management

Pros: You have a nice work-life balance. The San Diego sun and beaches are a bonus. You can usually control your own work and still find time for meditative walking, swimming, or biking when the pressure gets high.
Cons: Upper management doesn't clearly communicate its plans to everyone else. While this is understandable for preventing leaks, it's also detrimental in keeping morale up.
I think they're tight-lipped not because they have things to hide, but rather because they themselves don't know what they're doing. Reacting to a market versus creating a market is not good.
