Pros: See your projects quickly become a product in the market.
Cons: No life outside work, not much intellectual growth.
Since products need to come to the market quickly, most of the time you don't end up developing anything new. Minor technical changes are required to commercialize these products.
If you have a bent for learning new ideas, this is not the place. If you want to work like a machine and be happy with the benefits, then this is the place.
