Great benefits, good people, but shrinking prospects
Staff Software Engineer • Current Employee
San Diego, California, United States
December 1, 2013
Pros: Benefits are the best in San Diego, especially the health benefits. Other benefits like stocks, cash bonuses, ESPP, 401k, life insurance, vendor discounts, and many more make this company a competitive employer.
The engineering culture is good but can be stressful due to deadlines.
Cons: Can be political. Watch out for HR guys; they are not there to help you. Their job is to look out for the company only. Negotiate well with them. Future prospects for growth are questionable, so the company is tightening its belt.
