Process

Initially contacted by HR stating an engineer from the team would contact me for a phone interview within 3-5 days. I had a phone interview followed by an on-site interview. I received the offer after a week.

Questions

Questions about previous verification projects and internship experience.

Other questions included basic questions on SystemVerilog, verification methodologies, and OOP during the phone interview.

The on-site interview included writing code in SV, finding bugs, and explaining a possible verification plan for a design.

Pros: Great benefit and work flexibility. Inclusive work environment in which people believe they can make a contribution regardless of their level.

Cons: Highly political. Compared to other engineering companies, there are a lot of superficial efforts. More time was spent to make things look good instead of doing actual good. Senior management tends to be fully aware of their "senior" status and act like it. While the policy does encourage team collaboration and spirit regardless of each person's position, the reality is that there are plenty of god complexes at the senior level management.
