Pros
  1. Decent pay, as per industry standards.
  2. Good food, available almost all the time.
  3. Ample time for freshers to ramp up and have a stable start in their careers.
  4. Decent work-life balance for some teams.
Cons
  1. The majority of good people are leaving the company.
  2. The semi-annual appraisal cycle, a major pro of Qualcomm over others, has been changed to annual.
  3. Team allocation of freshers is bogus. It looks like they simply do a random shuffle.
  4. The HR department doesn't seem to be active at work. I received my relieving letter one month after leaving the company, which caused a lot of trouble with my new employer.
Advice to Management
  1. Pay more focus on team allocation of freshers, as that can affect their productivity.

  2. Some teams have terrible work-life balance; they should be improved a bit.
