Challenging and interesting work, along with flexible work hours, makes it a good place to work. Also, people are typically easygoing and cooperative. The compensation is reasonable, though not the best in the industry.
Not the highest pay that one can get.
A significant realignment of R&D effort is needed. Most of the new initiatives taken in the last few years haven't panned out as hoped.
