Good experience in embedded systems (if you are working in software, that is). You will get to work on totally next-generation products and concepts.
Great learning experience. It's like working for a big startup.
Pay is slightly below average. The HR department treats you like an object sometimes.
There is no Project Management. The company is turning slowly into a walled company. There is an R&D wall, which throws stuff into the development section sitting across the wall.
The development section either throws the stuff back over from the wall to the R&D, or takes it and develops it. Then the marketing steps in, and a lot more back and forth throwing stuff goes on.
In the end, the lower level and, to some extent, the middle management lose visibility into what's happening.
Continue on the good innovation programs that are being instituted.
Also, force even the development guys to suggest research, and force the research guys to know marketing.
Last but not least, increase the pay package.
I had another interview with Qualcomm. That was okay, but not so great. After that, I received another interview call for this position. I had a half-hour phone interview this time, and it went very well.
The interview process was extremely disconnected. An AI chatbot scheduled all the meetings, and there was no human in the loop to follow up. Overall, it was very frustrating, and I did not enjoy it.
I interviewed at Qualcomm, San Diego on April 16, 2018. I received an email from a team member to take a written C/Python test. Two weeks later, I received a call for a live interview. I interviewed with six engineers from the same team. One person
