Nice place to work
As hardware companies go, Qualcomm is a good place to work. First, a lot of FTEs get their own office. It is so good for productivity and lack of interruption to be able to shut my door and not hear other people's conversations. This alone is a reason to work at Qualcomm as versus another hardware company, or even one of these nouveau open-concept software companies.
It's a major corporation and can be crufty. I hear the pay is not as good as other places, but honestly, I feel like I'm paid enough.
Pay fairly, and cut projects when they're dumb or dying instead of letting them bleed out.
