Constant panic! Everything is needed now!
There's little planning, no documentation, and if it can be hacked to work late at night, do it. I'd seen a dozen goto statements in my career of as many years until I got to Qualcomm.
If there's a way to do something that is nearly impossible to debug, that's the way it's done here. Really, this place will test your sanity.
Quit promoting the workaholics. They manage to find the hard ways to do everything.
If you do ask people to come in on the weekends, at least get some decent pizza. You wouldn't get Pizza Hut for your family; have a little respect for the poor guys trying to make you look good.
