Management has a very progressive outlook on wireless technology and is not adverse to trying new ideas.
As an individual engineer, you and your work are respected.
Projects are not 'overcrowded' and 90% of engineers have their own office.
Also, the company realizes that the most talented engineers have the option of working elsewhere. For that reason, performance reviews occur once every 6 months.
The average raise is 3-5% (every 6 months!).
It is common for engineers to move around within the organization. The company provides a mechanism for new learning and for movement to different areas of the technology.
The company is essentially a massive IP portfolio that covers many different areas of technology.
Occasionally, one can feel disconnected from the rest of the organization.
Clarify expectations for my project requirements.

1-hour interview. Questions focused on RTOS, Data Structures, and C++ logic programming. Towards the end of the interview, there were two questions where I was asked to code and read it out.
