I had a phone interview a couple months after I applied. The developer interviewing me seemed to be busy doing something else during the interview. He asked about previous projects, motivations for software development, and basic computer science questions, such as Big O and comparisons of different data structures.
After the phone interview, I had an on-site interview where there were three in-person interviews. They really pitched the start-up nature of the company. This seemed to include working long hours, as one of the developers who interviewed me mentioned he works 8 am-6 pm with some late nights.
The HR folks and developers ended up giving off a feel similar to that of companies parodied on the show "Silicon Valley," i.e., "we're changing the world with our cat pictures app," "disruptive technology," etc. While I didn't particularly care for their culture, it was obvious they had very smart people working there.
