Applied online. Then I got three rounds of technical phone/Skype interviews, the last one being via Skype. All the people I met, including recruiters, interviewers, and coordinators, were very nice.
Their response was the quickest I've ever seen. I always got an email with next steps only two hours after an interview. The final offer decision was a bit slow and took two weeks for the Seattle office.
Apparently, they did not sponsor H1B for undergraduate students from outside the US, but (I think) they do so for Master's and PhD. Or you will be fine if you already have an H1B visa, in which case I think they are willing to transfer it.
My offer was voided because I had the "wrong" visa status, being an international undergraduate without an H1B visa. In the end, it was a huge waste of time and energy (and hope).
I feel it is not proper to set a bar based on the degree level, but that's how the company's policy is right now. I'm pretty sure many times international students who attend university in the US outperform master's students.
Next time, I would definitely go for larger companies to avoid this issue.
