Pros
  • Great colleagues: the people at Qualtrics who are genuinely kind, collaborative, and fun to work with
  • Good work-life balance: flexible working hours and respect for personal time are the norm
  • Strong benefits package: competitive perks that make a real difference day-to-day
Cons
  • Career growth is virtually non-existent: promotions are extremely rare, and even when deserved, they are nearly impossible to obtain.
  • Salaries are stagnant: raises are minimal, and you can expect to stay at your starting salary for years.
  • Bonuses are shrinking and may disappear entirely, despite being officially listed as part of the compensation package.
  • Engineering teams are in a state of stagnation: technical growth and development are rarely recognized or encouraged by the organization.
Advice to Management

Create real opportunities for career advancement: employees are ready to grow, and let them. Eliminate forced rating distributions: they demotivate people and damage trust in the review process. Make performance reviews actually reflect the work that people do, rather than a tool to fit a bonus budget.
