I have had a bad experience with Rakuten's interview process.

After applying to Rakuten through LinkedIn, I received an email from Rakuten Asia to join a Codility test. It took me more than one hour to solve 3 problems (one easy, two medium).

I informed HR of my result. They also asked me to fill up a form (including current/expected salary, bonus, schools, references...).

After a few days, they sent me the next online interview. I saw that there were 5 managers who would interview me :))

I took a day off to join this interview. However, on the day of the interview, I waited 5-10 minutes, and still, no one came. Then HR contacted me and said the interview managers had to troubleshoot an issue and would reschedule for another day.

However, after 2 weeks, I haven't received any email from HR :(

I think they don't respect candidates, so I decided to accept an offer from another company.

Forget Rakuten.
