Free, disgusting food.
Some benefits to make people work more.
Take this as a warning before joining the Indian department of Rakuten. Rakuten is a good company if you're working from anywhere other than India.
The senior management is just worse, and the HR department is the worst. There's a lot of politics. People go for breakfast with HR and managers to please them.
The work never gets done because of petty politics, and seniors just sleep around while the juniors are left to figure things out on their own. The HRs are busy in politics too and are the worst ever seen elsewhere. They're just tarnishing Rakuten's image in India.
The Bangalore office and the senior management are really bad. They make you work on weekends, and the credits will be taken away by the managers. They'll showcase your work to the seniors in Japan and will continue doing nothing.
They'll try to lure you with benefits and a good salary, but once you join the company, it's all downhill from there. And if you're good with bootlicking, this is the company for you. Good luck!!
Stop being so horrible. Give credit where it's due. Don't just admire people and give rewards to those who sit at the same table as yours in the cafeteria.

My interview experience with Rakuten was swift and efficient. The process consisted of three technical rounds, all of which involved coding questions. The interviewers were friendly, and the technical rounds were particularly engaging, focusing on
I got a call from Rakuten, Bengaluru. First round: HackerRank test Time: 120 min 4 simple algorithm questions, but most time was consumed in idiotic BigInteger and long test cases. HackerRank/HackerEarth sometimes provide good DS/Algo questions, but
