The interview process for this remote position was one of the better I've had, as far as the people I interviewed with. Everyone seemed genuinely interested in what they were doing.
After the recruiter screen and the follow-up interview, I had an additional interview (positive feedback). That follow-up seemed to go well, and afterward, I was told I'd get an update in a week, as they were wrapping up interviews.
After another week, I pinged and got a response asking about my hybrid availability.
A few days later, I got another email saying they were wrapping up interviews.
A week after that, I got another email they were still wrapping up interviews.
Overall, I got "we're wrapping up interviews" emails for about 4 weeks, with a large pause, until I got a "we're moving forward with other candidates" email more than 2 months after my initial interview.
I'm not sure if I got lost in the process or not.
