It took a while. First of all, I submitted my resume using the web form on the redhat.com page. I had no response from HR or anything. I was waiting indefinitely. Only contact with team members I wanted to work with kept my hope.

I had a few interviews with the team leader and a second team member. Then I got a short talk with my manager.

The most unexpected part was the contact with the recruiter. I was accepted by team members and the manager in November. The recruiter came back to me in February. So after more than three months, the HR team was able to proceed with the whole process.

After negotiations, things went smoothly, but the waiting was a nightmare.

Since I was recommended by another person, I had no tests. The questions were more about overall experience.
