The interview process was initiated through a referral. After submitting my resume, within two weeks, they scheduled the interview.
Initially, I spoke with a Solution Architect from Red Hat and then with their SA Director. The discussion focused on my background and their expectations. We talked about understanding customer requirements and using Red Hat's product portfolio to design a solution, including migration from other virtualization and cloud platforms to Red Hat Openstack and RHV-based platforms, and automation using Ansible.
The discussion with HR did not go well because their expectations were very different. Red Hat is a big brand, so people should not ask for benefits. They were offering me even less than I have in my current company, with no tax-saving benefits or RSU options. The offered CTC was very low.
