Process
The interview started with the interviewer asking me to tell him about myself (general stuff like hobbies, personal goals, etc.).
After that, I was asked to detail a significant technical challenge I had overcome.
The remainder of the interview involved technical questions (technical interview component) in which I was asked to detail my approach in solving problems related to fluid mechanics and thermodynamics.
Interviewer was very cordial and professional.
Overall positive experience.
I thought it went reasonably well for being my first technical interview, but I assume they opted to move forward with someone more qualified/experienced.
Questions
Given an uninsulated tank of liquid oxygen, detail your general approach to determine the amount of time it will take for all of its contents to vaporize.
