Senior Software Engineer, Backend Interview Experience - Long Beach, California

Process

One phone screening takes 20-30 minutes, followed by an online Coderpad coding interview.

Then a 4-hour in-office interview with 5 rounds:

  • 1-hour PowerPoint presentation
  • 1-hour coding challenge
  • 30-minute interview with the manager
  • 30-minute software design-related questions
  • 30-minute factory tour
  • A lunch session.

The difficulty of both coding challenges was between easy and medium level questions on LeetCode, but not directly from LeetCode.

The hard part for me was to prepare a PowerPoint presentation with projects I did, related to their business, and not to show any other company's proprietary information.

No offer was given, even though I answered all questions. There was also no reply after a week when I asked for feedback for the interview and rejection.
