Process

Contacted by their Talent Sourcer, I was asked to send in my resume.

I spoke for an hour with a hiring manager on Skype, which I assume was a screening process.

The next step was "Culture fit," where they asked probing questions about how you deal with certain scenarios. Expect to describe:

  • A difficult personal situation and how you dealt with it.
  • How you handle direct criticism of your work.

Finally, a technical interview via Skype, which involved talking about a tough technical issue you solved, some general technical "talking" problems, and finally a live coding test online. Most of their technical questions involved graph and tree traversal algorithms, as well as solving other general algorithms. You should practice on sites like HackerRank beforehand.

I wasn't offered the next stage as I failed to meet their standards.
