The interview consisted of three rounds: one system design, one coding, and one behavioral.
The interviewers were friendly. However, I felt the System Design interviewer was very rigid in his expectations and was not ready to listen to alternatives. My design proposal was extremely similar to what a real-world tool would do. He ended up completely confusing me and throwing me off track.
The most humorous part was the last segment of the interview, where I asked him how he collaborates with Engineering Managers on designs like these. His response was, "The EMs leave the design to me!"
Interviewing involves a lot of luck at the end of the day. You need to present your best self, get lucky with the interviewers, and several other factors.
Having said all this, I enjoyed the interview and must say my experience was positive.
