Pros: Base compensation is good, but most of the other variable compensation doesn't get paid out. They'll find reasons to pull your ratings down so that you don't get the variable comp.

Cons: - Toxic work culture. Managers ask people to be in the office at odd hours. They are not empathetic enough. They want reportees to be in the office based on the time they come to the office. - Every miss or negative comment is documented, while appreciation is rare. - Show-off culture. If you show that you're working without actually delivering things, then you get promoted. High performers often quit because they are not into office politics. - Colleagues try to pull you down so that they can climb up the ladder. - No one wants to build relations here. Communications are very transactional and mostly negative. - No planning or sense of direction. It's such a simple product, but there are so many bugs in it because there's no engineering lead that sticks around to see things end to end. - Slack is mostly filled with negative messages.

Pros: Decent pay. ARR is growing very quickly. Lots of opportunities.

Cons: Requires long hours. Chaotic environment. Doesn't feel like our leaders are aligned on the strategy for our products. You get punished for working on improving quality instead of shipping more. Poor benefits.

Pros: High pay and good location

Cons: An expensive area to live in.
