I was contacted by a Rivian recruiter on LinkedIn.
I scheduled a 30-minute interview with the recruiter to go over my resume.
This was followed by a 30-minute interview with the hiring manager about my experience.
I was then invited for a "power day" at the HQ.
This started with a tour of the office led by HR, followed by conversations with:
- A team member
- A manufacturing team member
- The hiring manager and a systems engineer
Rivian has a negative approach to its interview process, as they stress the fact that they "like firing people."
