Process

The basic outline of the whole process is a phone call with a recruiter, a technical screen, and lastly half-day virtual on-site interviews. Due to an NDA, I cannot get into specifics.

Phone Call:

This initial phone call with the recruiter is to go over your basic resume background and gauge your interest. The recruiter was courteous and quite responsive, helping me through the entire process.

Technical Screen:

The interviewer wanted to see if I could hold a conversation and communicate effectively, more so than knowing how to solve the problem. You still have to solve it, even if it isn't the optimum solution, but the weight is on how well you communicate technical ideas. The interviewer may ask challenge questions.

Virtual On-site Interviews:

Basically, half the time was behavioral and the other half was technical. The behavioral portion checked to see if I would mesh well with the entirety of the team, if I was capable of solving current problems faced by the team, and if I was in line with company culture. The technical portion was much more domain-specific for the position you are applying for, so be prepared for that.

Overall, it was an easy, smooth experience. All of the interviewers were great, and the recruiter answered any and all of my questions. The whole process took roughly about a month.
