The interview process consisted of a phone screen by a recruiter, followed by a hiring manager screen and another technical phone screen. This was followed by a full day of five interviews. Most interviewers were cordial and the interviews were good. The rounds were behavioral, situational, and technical.
But after taking a day off to attend the interview and spending nearly 10 hours just doing interviews, there was no response. The recruiter simply did not even respond to any of my follow-ups and ghosted me completely.
This is a really bad way to treat candidates who also spend their time and energy, and it tells a lot about the company culture.
