Pros
  1. Very few true talents (left still - either not laid off or left the company) are good to work with. Truly knowledgeable talents, they are.

  2. Products are great.

  3. Not-so-terrible WLB (still terrible though).

Cons
  1. The company's bright talents tend to leave for some mystic reason(s).
  2. Incompetent mid-level leaders - Sr. Managers, Directors, Sr. Directors. The directors and Sr. directors who are supposed to direct and provide guidance are clueless as to what their jobs mean. Simply put, most of them are people pleasers. One can at least spot a couple of their favorites on their team from their previous work life. Not that it's a wrong thing - the +1s and +2s are equally bad as those higherups, if not worse.
  3. Exec. Leadership is young and makes its own mistakes, to say the least. What and who once seemed inspiring now are not confidence earning.
  4. Long gone is the start-up spirit. Now it's full of egoistic political games.
  5. Can see a lot of micromanaging higherups lately.
  6. Illogical and inefficient project roadmaps.
Advice to Management

I think it's beyond manageable/repairable unless RJ wakes up and gets rid of the fakely-competent middle and higher managers.
