Rivian is a great place to work as an intern! The projects are challenging but allow you to make a positive impact. Hours can be long, but the pay is very good. The intern program has a lot of fun events planned and free swag!
Long hours, not a lot to do in Normal, IL, since it is far from any cities.
Screening, initial interview, project presentation, etc. Normal interview. Didn't get very far. Interesting questions related to manufacturing. Asked about affinity for the company and desire to work in the automotive industry.
One screening with a recruiter during an on-campus event. The actual interview was a 15-minute technical presentation, followed by 30 minutes of questions about my presentation, and then some questions about my resume.
Very positive, quick responses. Took a few weeks. Overall, a positive process, but they do interview relatively late in the cycle. Still good and positive experiences. One interview call. Panel interview with directors/managers
